Severity: Severe

Adverse Effects:
Anticholinergic effects (dry mouth, constipation, urinary retention), sedation, orthostatic hypotension, arrhythmia risk

Contraindications:
Immediately post-MI, severe cardiac conduction abnormalities, concomitant MAOI use

Precautions:
Start low dose; avoid in elderly (Beers criteria); monitor ECG in cardiac disease; taper gradually.
